Your airboat tour guide, Captain Mike, is a 5th generation Floridian. His lineage includes the original settlers in the St. Johns River area. Proud to be a part of a family that raised cattle, operated & owned sawmills, & planted and harvested orange trees, Mike spent his whole life on the St Johns River. 

Captain Mike’s extensive personal experience & training ensure he is well-qualified to provide a completely safe river airboat tour experience. He personally ensures that his boats are fully insured & meet all safety requirements, including emergency equipment. 

Captain Mike is a retired Federal Officer who worked as a S.W.A.T. Officer and Field Supervisor with the Marine Enforcement Unit at Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, and U.S. NAVY.
